Darwin's Spiritual Evolution

Drisana is an energy system of such power and sophistication that it surprises even most professional energy workers. Yet its versatility and ease of use makes it perfect for even the complete beginner to energy work. It's of Tibetan origin – the word "Drisana" itself being Sanskrit for "the daughter of the sun". Like all S.U.N. classes, Drisana is an initiation workshop in which you receive powerful energies that you can then access at any time for yourself or others by mentally directing the flow (no visualization, complex symbols, mantras, etc.). People using Drisana consistently report dramatic shifts at all levels of their being – physical, emotional, mental, and particularly spiritual.

The Drisana system is a sequence of seven progressively transformative courses. However, the sequence is so carefully designed that you can stop at any time and have a complete experience. The first level alone contains enough tools to keep you evolving for the rest of your life.

Of the many unusual aspects of Drisana, there are three I would like to emphasize here:

1. Each level of Drisana contains an unusually large number of empowerments, many of which have no parallel in any other system. An example is the use of "power settings", which enable you to increase the force of not just Drisana but any subtle energy. If you have been initiated into any other energy system, you will be able to use this empowerment to run that energy more strongly than you ever have before. There's not enough space here to list all 30 empowerments in the first level of Drisana, but you can contact your nearest S.U.N. teacher or the S.U.N. office for the complete list.
2. Drisana is one of only a few energy systems in the world which work with all seven planes of reality – the physical, emotional, mental, Buddhic, atmic, monadic and cosmic. Most systems neglect the atmic and monadic. Unless we can connect deeply into all seven planes, there is some part of us which feels incomplete.
3. Drisana is the only energy system in the world that works by directly accessing the star tetrahedron shaped energy fields surrounding our six incarnational centers (also known as the six permanent atoms). Our physical body, chakras, aura etc. are but manifestations of these fields.

Huna or Drisana Which is best for you?

First, we want to make clear that we're not talking about which is best, but which is best for you at this point in time. Some people who teach energy systems will tell you that their method is "best", but the fact is that we're all individuals and no system is best for everyone.

We've found that over 97% of people benefit significantly from Huna, Drisana or both. In fact, one reason we teach these two systems out of the hundreds we have to offer is that a person who doesn't respond to one usually responds to the other. A decision about doing one is often made after actually experiencing both systems rather that just reading the descriptions. Drisana contains more attunements and enables you to do a greater variety of things than any other energy system we know of, but the Huna workshops have more attunements in certain areas – e.g. in developing the many beautiful qualities of the heart, in doing dreamwork and connecting to the earth. A Letter from Joanne:

In April '96 I attended my second S.U.N. Network class - the first in a year long series called "A Tour of the Angelic Kingdom". Irving looked around the room and noted the wide range of experience of the students. He saw clairvoyantly that some had been working with angels for years, while there were a few that didn't know for sure that angels existed. I was in the latter category. I have taken many classes since then. The initiations themselves, the background information about the structure of the universe, and Irving's easy presence as teacher all impact strongly. It is not an exaggeration to say that every aspect of my life is enhanced and transformed.

I've always had a strong personal response to the powerful climactic scene of William Gibson's play, "The Miracle Worker", based on Helen Keller's childhood at the time her teacher, Anne Sullivan, arrived. I used to have a photo of that scene by the well at the miraculous moment when seven year old Helen, blind and deaf since 18 months of age, finally understands that there is language - that there is a word for the water splashing over her hands. In that instant, after five years in silence and darkness, the world opens for her. I looked at that photo for years longing for something I might experience or be shown that would so dramatically alter and clearly illuminate my consciousness and perception. I have been blessed with the answer to that longing.

My heart is open. I have more physical energy. Teaching the simplest of t'ai chi forms, I am more cognitively and experientially grounded when I speak of receiving energy from both the earth and universe. Sharing bodywork, I can also offer to run a variety; of energies. I experience more patience, compassion and calm objectivity about our situations and lessons. Settling inward, I am blessed and grateful to know there is more order and support from the universe that I ever imagined.
